It does an excellent job of pointing out famous people who failed at first, but eventually turned into huge success stories.

Learn how early failures in life did not stop Lucille Ball, The Beatles, Michael Jordan, Thomas Edison, Walt Disney or Abraham Lincoln from becoming successful. Failure and setbacks happen to everybody. Embrace them, learn from them and then move forward. Without failure, you could not appreciate success.

Negative people want to shut you down.  Their life is miserable, they are unhappy and they want you to be unhappy with them. Remember the old saying misery loves company.  The reason negative people are miserable and unhappy, is that they are not taking responsibility for their lives.  They want to blame all of their problems on somebody else.  It is somebody else’s fault, and they don’t have to take responsibility for what is going on in their life.

Avoid these negative people at all costs. They will sap you of your energy and really slow down your progress towards success. Remember the only way to be successful yourself is to take responsibility for your success. Blame and negativity will only hold you back.

You must eliminate the negative noise that is all around you. I have found that it is best to avoid the network news completely. It seems to me that these reporters actually enjoy talking about bad things. I want to puke when I hear them spouting off more gloom and doom about the economy. If you think that you won’t make any money in a recession, then you won’t make any money. Forget about the recession and just start taking some focused well planned action.

Bad times don’t last forever and good times don’t last forever. The only thing that you have control over is your thoughts and actions. Block out the negative, think positive and take action today. Now go make something happen!
