Your “Road Block Task” is the one action step that is holding up everything else. It is stopping your business from moving forward. This action step must be completed before anything else can be done. Remove the road block and everything falls into place. Then find the next most important road block and complete that task next.

Let me give you an example. Let’s say your passion in life is Poodle breeding and you want to start a blog about it and sell some dog breeding affiliate products. So what is your first road block task?

Some people would go out and buy a course on traffic generation, but that would be a huge distraction at this time because that is not your road block task. You can’t send traffic to a blog if you don’t have a blog on the internet to send traffic to. So your first action step would be to buy a domain name. Then get hosting. Then install wordpress on your blog. You get the picture. Learning about traffic generation is a good thing, but not until you are ready for it.

Don’t buy any internet marketing course until your business has progressed to the point where that information is vital to your success. This will help you to stay focused on your road block tasks and keep information overload to a minimum.
